About Dr Andrew Cousins

Dr Andrew Cousins is the creation of Andrew Lowes, an award-winning writer/ director who has made the Shetland Islands his home for more than forty years.

Between 2000 and 2002 he created 54 weekly interviews with imagined cinema figures for Netribution.co.uk. When the site returned in 2006 he added more, this time joined by illustrator Éric Dubois who illustrated all of his interviews, with many illustrations never seen. In 2026 he returned with a book and a few new creations…
